My name is Linda Yip, and I am a Licensed Electrologist certified by the State of California. I attended and received my training from the highly regarded electrolysis program of the American Institute of Education. At the school, I gained valuable knowledge and working experience in all of the latest permanent hair removal techniques and procedures. I am very friendly and have a passion for helping people to attain that confident appearance in a permanent fashion. With over seven years of work in electrolysis, I am both experienced and qualified to provide effective and quality treatment for permanent hair removal here at the Bloom Bridal Boutique. What is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is a form of permanent hair removal that eliminates any unwanted facial or body hair through the use of electrical current. A very fine, sterile probe is inserted into each individual hair follicle at the surface of the skin, delivering a low-level electrical current to kill the follicle and eliminate the hair permanently. With over 125 years of clinically proven safety and effectiveness, electrolysis is the only FDA and AMA approved method of permanent hair removal.

Unlike laser treatments, electrolysis eliminates any hair and treats all skin types. Laser treatments target melanin or pigment; hence, lasers are not as effective on lighter hairs or darker skin. Furthermore, results are never guaranteed with laser treatments and the hairs often grow back eventually. Therefore, laser treatments are known as a hair reduction rather than removal procedure. Electrolysis has none of these limitations, presenting a more guaranteed, versatile form of permanent hair removal that works on all hair and skin types.
